The First and Last Freedom is a book by Jiddu Krishnamurti (1895–1986), originally published 1954.

About the work

This was the second of Krishnamurti's books to be published by mainstream commercial publishers. According to one source, as of 2006 there had been "36 editions published between 1954 and 2006 in 9 languages and held by 1,566 libraries worldwide".[2] The foreword[3] was written by Aldous Huxley, who was a longtime friend of Krishnamurti.[4]
